Public sector organisations use the Digital Marketplace to find and compare cloud-based services, like web hosting or site analytics. If you want to sell commoditised cloud services on the Digital Marketplace, you need to submit them to the G-Cloud framework first.
How it works
If your application to G-Cloud 7 is successful then the basic terms of your service will have already been agreed with government following a formal Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU) procurement process. Public sector organisations can then buy services more quickly because they don’t have to run a full tender.
How to apply
The latest iteration of the G-Cloud framework, G-Cloud 7, is now open for submissions. You’ll need to follow the process below and be successful in your application before your services can be accepted on the Digital Marketplace.
- Create, or log into, a supplier account on the Digital Marketplace.
- Register your interest in becoming a G-Cloud 7 supplier.
- Make the supplier declaration on the Digital Marketplace.
- Submit service information on the Digital Marketplace.
- Wait for compliance checks to be made on your information. If accepted, your services will be published on the Digital Marketplace when G-Cloud 7 goes live.

Hello Brendan,
There's no update just yet. I can only give you the same advice as we gave Billy.
Thanks,

I think I read somewhere that this initiative would be open for new submissions every six months, if the last framework went live in November 2015, can we expect a new framework to open in May 2016?
Best,
Ros
