6 month extension for G-Cloud 5

Posted by: , Posted on: - Categories: Digital Marketplace, G-Cloud

The G-Cloud 5 (G5) framework will be available on the Digital Marketplace for another 6 months, in line with the terms of the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU). The extension has been put in place to ensure continuity of service for customers during the development of G-Cloud 7. G5 is now due to end 22 November 2015.

Two iterations of the G-Cloud framework are currently available on the Digital Marketplace, G-Cloud 5 and G-Cloud 6.

Suppliers on the G5 framework have been notified by email from Crown Commercial Service.

Interesting news but can you also give some guidance on when you expect G-Cloud 7 will open so that new suppliers can register?

    Hi,

Does this have a bearing on when submissions will be open for G-Cloud 7?

I note there is a Buyers event planned - do you have any objections to the broader community attending or are there Supplier refresh events planned prior to the release of G Cloud 7?

Hi there. Yes, we have a series of buyers events coming up but they are strictly for buyers, I'm afraid. Please subscribe to the blog and follow us on Twitter for updates about supplier events. We don't have any planned as yet. Thanks.
