Digital Outcomes and Specialists: when users will be able to buy and sell services

Posted by: , Posted on: - Categories: Buyers, Digital Marketplace, Digital Outcomes and Specialists, Suppliers

Digital Outcomes and Specialists opened for applications in December. Back then, we estimated that users would be able to buy and sell Digital Outcomes and Specialists services on the Digital Marketplace at the end of February. We now expect this to be mid April.

Here’s an updated timetable of provisional dates:

Date Activity
18.02.16 Applicants received an intention to award notification and found out the result of their application
19.02.16  Standstill period begun
Mid April Users will be able to buy and sell services on the Digital Marketplace

We’ve updated the standstill period start date as well as the launch or 'go live' date.

Making sure we meet the user need

Working on the buying journey and building the minimum viable product (MVP) has been our priority since the framework opened.

We’ve been testing prototypes in our weekly user research sessions and iterating in response to the feedback. We’ll blog about what we’re learning. Sign up to the Digital Marketplace blog to stay up to date with our progress and to find out about how suppliers will apply for work.
