Early in December 2014, we opened Digital Services 2 for submissions. This was to refresh the framework that helps government have access to a pool of digital specialists. The submission deadline for this OJEU closed in January.
We've had over 280 suppliers bid, with over 85% from SMEs, which is a great response from the market. The evaluation is taking a little longer than planned as we want to ensure that we select high quality suppliers.
The updated timescales for the next stages of the OJEU are:
- Price evaluation for commoditised roles towards the end of April
- Award planned for mid May
- Go Live estimated early June

We'll be extending Digital Services 1, which is currently expiring March 31 2015, to ensure that there is no gap in offering these services to the public sector.
