Changes to eSourcing system for G-Cloud

Posted by: , Posted on: - Categories: G-Cloud, Suppliers

As part of an ongoing process to improve the G-Cloud procurement, a new tool (BravoSolution) is being used by Crown Commercial Services (CCS) for G-Cloud 6.

Data from the previous system cannot be migrated to the new system so existing G-Cloud suppliers will need to re-register. Please visit the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) eSourcing Portal to create your new supplier account. Below is an image showing the questions you will be asked.

You will only be able to respond to the tender once the OJEU has opened.

I do hope the reason was more along the lines of new data was required e.g. security question rather than a technical reason.

Does the new system allow for data export should you need to move in the future.

I'm just preparing my service definition, pricing and terms docs and the framework agreement requires that I include 'ordering and invoice process'. This request for 'ordering and invoice process' implies that there is no "BUY" button or "CHECKOUT" within the market place. That would make the marketplace nothing more than a glorified classifieds ad. Is this true?
