Submissions for G-Cloud 6 closed at 3pm on Wednesday 17th December. More than three quarters of the submissions were started only 10 days before closing date and nearly 90% were submitted during the final 3 days. We'll be looking into how we can help suppliers start the process sooner in future, to ensure confidence in submitting applications earlier.
We have been collating feedback from suppliers on the Service Submission Portal, which we'll be evaluating and sharing over the next month. Main user sentiments so far include:
1. Suppliers don't want to re-enter all the information for each product in future frameworks.
2. The tool was easy to use and a big improvement on previous submissions
3. The content of some questions was unclear.
4. Having the downloadable spreadsheet of questions in advance was a huge help.
So what's next?
Intention to Award notices will be sent to suppliers on 20th January.
